AC Milan, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Bayern Munich start right

AC Milan, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are some of the favorite teams in the UEFA Champions League and for a good reason. They all dominated their first match of the Leagues 1st round.

AC Milan defeated Auxerre 2-0 with goals from Ibrahimovic (ex-Barcelona) with the assistance of Ronaldinho. This was Ibrahimovic debut game with the AC Milan and he showed a great coupling with the rest of the team, specially with Ronaldinho. Their teamwork ended up in two beautiful goals.

Real Madrid defeated Ajax 2-0 in a game that has been highly criticized. Real Madrid dominated the game, but only managed to make two goal out of many attempts. We have to consider that Ajax goalkeeper did a superb work, but this isn't an excuse for all the failed attempts on Madrid's team. Ronaldo failed almost every shot, and those who were good, were stopped by the goalkeeper, which ended up frustrating Ronaldo. Like in Real Madrid's last game, Mesut Ozil was the man of the night. Definitively Ozil is the greatest addition for Real Madrid this season, as he has showed an awesome performance in the games he has played for the team.

Arsenal goaled Braga 6-0. Arsenal dominated the game and this shows on the score. They did an amazing work as a team and obviously it paid off.

Bayern Munich defeated Roma 2-0 with goals from Klose and Muller.

There's still a long, long way for this teams to go, but they have started the right way. Let's see who can keep it this way and who will not be so lucky...

Twente debuts at the UEFA

The Dutch team Twente made his debut at the UEFA Champions League with a surprising score of 2-2 against the Internazionale Milano. As you may know, Inter Milan is the current champion of the UEFA Champions League as well as the Series A League (Italian League), and Twente had never before played in the UEFA. The team seemed to be nervous the whole game and didn't quite have good control of the ball in the occasions they had it, which was expected considering the difficult of their debut match, but managed to tie with the current champion, which hopefully will give them more confidence in their next matches. We have to keep an eye out for this team and see how far will they go in their first time in Champions League.

Barcelona starts with the right foot

Barcelona started his UEFA Champions League journey with an amazing score over the greek team Panathinaikos of 5-1. Barcelona gave their fans an excellent game, where they had control of the ball almost the whole game. Goals were made by Messi (twice), David Villa, Dani Alvez and Pedro. I also have to give some credit to the Panathinaikos team, that managed to score once against one of Spains most strongest team with a jaw-dropping pass and a perfectly excecuted push that resulted in goal.
