Ronaldinho will not be with Brazil in their next games

Some names have been come out of the players that had been summoned to be part of Brazil's national team in their next friendly matches in October. Pato, Robinho and Nelmar's name were in the convocation list, while Ronaldinho and Neimar's weren't. Still this doesn't mean that they won't be part of the national team, but for now they have been called.

Lega Serie A - Giornata 4

The most expected games for the 3rd round of the Italian League:

Internazionale Milano goaled Bari 4-0, with two penalty shots by Eto'o and two goals by Milito. Inter Milan's next game in the Serie A is against Roma. Inter Milan hasn't lost a game in the league and Roma hasn't won one

Ac Milan tied with Lazio 1-1. Ibrahimovic still showing how good he had coupled with the team.

Palermo almost goaled Juventus, but in the last minutes of the game Juventus managed to score, leaving the game 3-1.

La Liga Round 4

Barcelona defeated Sporting Gijón 1-0, a victory that surprised many fans, as it was thought that Barcelona will defeat Sporting by more goals. Messi was absent of this game because of his injury and Bojan took his place, what raised the question: can Barcelona keep their rhythm without Messi?

Atlético Madrid and Valencia tied. Both teams did a great game, but the star of the night once again was Atlético's goalkeeper De Gea. There are rumors that Manchester United is interested in buying this young, but talented goalkeeper.

Malaga defeated Getafe 2-0 and Villareal defeated Deportivo Bilbao 1-0

Sevilla tied Real Racing de Santander 1-1. Jesus Navas was absent in this game, and some say that his absence can be a factor for Sevilla not to win.

At the moment, Real Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla are the only teams that haven't lost a game yet. Real Madrid and Valencia are in the top of the chart, as they have only tied a game each and Sevilla has tied two.

Paulo Bento to lead Portugal's national team

Paulo Bento was announced to be Portugal's national team new manager until 2012. Rumors that Joseph Mourinho (Real Madrid's current manager) would be the manager were spread, and actually he was considered, but they ended up selecting Paulo Bento. Bento played in some Portugal's football clubs, played for the national team for 10 years and also managed some football teams with some success. Let's see if Portugal can regain their ranking with this new manager of if they will keep lowering it.

Ujfalusi will lose two games

Atlético Madrid player Ujfalusi has been suspended for two games after getting a red card for injuring Messi's ankle. It has been said that Messi will be back in the field in two weeks, but it all depends on how well his recovery goes. Luckily there was no fracture or anything big.

A trainer from another Spanish team said that this considerations are only taken when this kinds of fouls are committed against players like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, but for any other player the red card is enough.

Athletic Bilbao & Real Madrid win the 4th round of La Liga

Athletic Bilbao got their first victory of La Liga against Mallorca. Athletic Bilbao dominated the game, and this paid off as a 3-0 victory, one of the goals by penalty. This victory comes great for this team, as they hadn't won any game since the beginning of La Liga and their nest game is against Barcelona.

Real Madrid continues their undefeated strike in La Liga. Espanyol started giving a few scares to Real Madrid in the first half, but luckily for Madrid's team they were just scares. Ronaldo finally scores his first goal of the season by a penalty kick, followed by a goal by Higuain, giving Real Madrid a solid advantage against Espanyol. Pepe got two yellow cards and was expelled from the game, but this didn't affect much the team; a few minutes later Garlán from Espanyol also was expelled from the field, evening the amount of players in each team. Almost at the end, Benzema scored the 3rd and final goal of the game. Espanyol played very good, but not good enough to defeat the legendary Real Madrid.

Lionel Messi Injured

In the last game between Barcelona vs Atlético Madrid Lionel Messi resulted with an injured ankle, product of a brutal foul from Ujfalusi. It has been predicted that he may be out for 3 to 5 weeks. He is sure to miss the next game of La Liga, where Barcelona will face Espanyol.

Barcelona defeats Atlético Madrid 2-1

Barcelona had control of the ball since the beginning of the game. At the minute 13', Messi did one of his confusing/jaw-dropping goals, giving Barcelona the lead. At the minute 25', Atlético Madrid had a corner kicked by Simao that ended in goal by Raúl García, tying the game 1-1. At the minute 32' it was Barcelona who had a corner, kicked by Messi, stopped by Pique's chest and kicked to the goal by himself; giving Barcelona their second goal of the game and the lead again. The game was fairly clean until the end, when Ujfalusi gave Messi a brutal foul that injured the Barcelona player and he received a red card.

Valencia defeats Hércules 2-1

The game startes very intense by both teams, but it was Valencia who scored the first goal of the legs of Mata before two minutes were played. Hércules gained control of the game and had very good opportunities on the goal area, that most of them were stopped by the goalkeeper. Pedro Hérnandez scored the second goal of  Valencia in the minute 23' and later Trézéguet marked the first for Hércules in a penalty kick that Valencia's goalkeeper César couldn't even try to stop. Both teams did a really good game until the last minutes of the second half, when the game turned dirty with a lot of fouls and situations by both teams. Valencia ended up Triumphant 2 goals to one.

Real Madrid wins their 3rd game of La Liga

Real Madrid defeated Real Sociedad 2-1 in their third game of La Liga BBVA. Excellent game from both teams. Real Madrid haven't been showing good football this season, but in this game was considerably better than their latest ones. 1st goal was made by Di Maria and the second was a free kick from Ronaldo that deflected on Pepe's back and ended in goal. At first this goal was given to Ronaldo, but latter it was given to Pepe, which means that Ronaldo still has no goals this season, which is making the player try too hard to score and wasting good opportunities. Real Sociedad showed aggressive football that was stopped most of the times by Real Madrid's defense, but that made then suffer a few scares; one that ended in goal by Tamudo.

AC Milan, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Bayern Munich start right

AC Milan, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are some of the favorite teams in the UEFA Champions League and for a good reason. They all dominated their first match of the Leagues 1st round.

AC Milan defeated Auxerre 2-0 with goals from Ibrahimovic (ex-Barcelona) with the assistance of Ronaldinho. This was Ibrahimovic debut game with the AC Milan and he showed a great coupling with the rest of the team, specially with Ronaldinho. Their teamwork ended up in two beautiful goals.

Real Madrid defeated Ajax 2-0 in a game that has been highly criticized. Real Madrid dominated the game, but only managed to make two goal out of many attempts. We have to consider that Ajax goalkeeper did a superb work, but this isn't an excuse for all the failed attempts on Madrid's team. Ronaldo failed almost every shot, and those who were good, were stopped by the goalkeeper, which ended up frustrating Ronaldo. Like in Real Madrid's last game, Mesut Ozil was the man of the night. Definitively Ozil is the greatest addition for Real Madrid this season, as he has showed an awesome performance in the games he has played for the team.

Arsenal goaled Braga 6-0. Arsenal dominated the game and this shows on the score. They did an amazing work as a team and obviously it paid off.

Bayern Munich defeated Roma 2-0 with goals from Klose and Muller.

There's still a long, long way for this teams to go, but they have started the right way. Let's see who can keep it this way and who will not be so lucky...

Twente debuts at the UEFA

The Dutch team Twente made his debut at the UEFA Champions League with a surprising score of 2-2 against the Internazionale Milano. As you may know, Inter Milan is the current champion of the UEFA Champions League as well as the Series A League (Italian League), and Twente had never before played in the UEFA. The team seemed to be nervous the whole game and didn't quite have good control of the ball in the occasions they had it, which was expected considering the difficult of their debut match, but managed to tie with the current champion, which hopefully will give them more confidence in their next matches. We have to keep an eye out for this team and see how far will they go in their first time in Champions League.

David Villa, the next Spanish "Pichichi"

David Villa is soon to become the next maximun goaler (Pichichi, as they are called in Spain) for the Spain's national team, La Furia Roja. At the moment he's tied with Raúl González with 44 goals. He already holds the record for most goals scored over a season for the Spanish national team with 13 goals, among other records. Considering the kind of game that Spain has been showing, David Villa's record break is just a matter of time. The next game for the Spanish national team is scheduled to be on November 17, 2010 against the Portugal national team. Will this be the game where he finally break his record and become the next Spanish Pichichi?

Barcelona starts with the right foot

Barcelona started his UEFA Champions League journey with an amazing score over the greek team Panathinaikos of 5-1. Barcelona gave their fans an excellent game, where they had control of the ball almost the whole game. Goals were made by Messi (twice), David Villa, Dani Alvez and Pedro. I also have to give some credit to the Panathinaikos team, that managed to score once against one of Spains most strongest team with a jaw-dropping pass and a perfectly excecuted push that resulted in goal.

One of the most talked happenings this weekend is the defeat of the Barcelona FC team by the Hercules team. Even though that Barcelona was in possesion of the ball most of the time, the Hércules players made the most of their oppportunities and ended up defeating one of the strongest teams on La Liga. Nestor Valdez, the paraguayan player, was the author of both goals and said he was very happy about it. Dani Alvez, Barcelona player,  said: "This isn't how it starts, but how it ends", letting know that there are still a lot of games to be played and that the Barcelona team still has a chance of winning La Liga and won't be let down by this defeat in their camp, the Camp Nou.
